Valencia is a Spanish municipality. It’s situated in the south-east coast of the country.
This city belongs to Valencia 's Community, as Castellón and Alicante. Its history is kind of interesting. It was founded by Romans in 138 B.C with the name of Valentía(Courage).
There’s a specific language that approximately 10 million people use there, Valenciano.
The most famous thing about Valencia are the festivals of Fallas. They are celebrated between the 14 and 19 of March every year. People create beautiful and colorful sculptures made of wood and then, they burn them. The deep meaning of this tradition is that carpenters used to burn wood to celebrate the end of winter and welcome spring.
There are also traditional costumes for boys and girls, and they are called falleros.
Another thing to have in mind about Valencia is the food.
Horchata, paella, all i pebre, esgarraet, fideuá… I really recommend you trying paella and horchata. You’ll never eat something like that.

From my point of view and experience, I have to show you the best beaches and places to visit.
Playa Terranova, Oliva
Cala del Faro, Cullera
Playa del Saler
And I surely can say that the best place to visit if you come from another country is Benidorm. It's known as “New York'' from Spain because around 25 thousand people who live there, are immigrants or tourists.
Something more personal is that I used to go with my family twice every year, because I love Benidorm so much. When I was little we used to go for a walk for hours, and never got tired. There are plenty of things and activities you can do there. Many shops, restaurants, the best ice creams etc.
Finally, I find very interesting: La Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències (The city of arts and sciences). It’s an architectural complex where you can learn about science, arts etc by fun activities.
