Oviedo / Elena Collado

Oviedo is a Spanish city belonging to the Principality of Asturias. It is located in northwestern Spain. 

It is known for its medieval old town, where the cathedral of Oviedo, which began to be built in the thirteenth century, is located. Oviedo is also known for its museums. The Archaeological Museum of Asturias, which contains objects from prehistoric times to the present day. Also, the Museum of Fine Arts of Asturias includes 2 palaces and has a large collection of Spanish art. 

It is a city where it usually rains a lot, and the temperature is usually between 3ºC and 27ºC. 

Its gastronomy is incredible! You must try the fabada Asturiana or the cachopo!

I love this city because we can find magnificent natural landscapes next to the city. Inside it we can find very nice monuments like the cathedral. We can also take into account that we have the sea nearby, just 25 minutes by car.
