Where is Getafe?

Getafe is a Spanish city belonging to Madrid's community. It's located in the middle of Spain. The most important monument are from medieval and modern age. There are two important monuments in Getafe: "Hopsitalillo de San José"  and "El Cerro de los Ángeles".

The festivities of the city are in may, theese have two different ways, the first one is the catholic way, the second way is going to the party zone where you can eat, drink, and play.

 

If you like sports specifically football, you should go to "Coliseum Álfonso Pérez". This is the Getafe's pitch, I really recommend it, because when you are there you are living a pretty good experience.

I also liked Getafe because of the people and the bars. The food is fantastic and is not expensive. Here, you can eat the most tipical Madrid's food, for example "Cocido Madrileño" or "Caracolas a la Madrileña"
