Easter is a typical tradition in Spain created by the catholic people. It takes seven days long and depending on the year the date falls in March or April. The main reason of this days is the resurrection of Jesus named in the New Testament. Approximately 60 groups of catholic people called "Hermandades" parade around the city until they reach the church.
For example, the first picture is in Sevilla, located in the south of Spain when people are walking around the streets and the second is like a map showing the route until you get to the church.
There are other activities in this week. You can see people dancing, eating with their family and friends and also there is a lot of people singing typical Spanish music. This tradition is mainly located in the south of Spain like Malaga, Sevilla, Cadiz.. etc.
I went to Malaga a couple of years ago and my experience was incredible, seeing people so excited seemed very nice to me. Apart from that my family and I love Andalusian culture and Spanish dance what made me fall in love with the city and de people so this year we will be back. Finally as a recommendation I invite yo to go to Malaga on easter date and to this restaurant https://krakenmalaga.es/ is delicious, I promise you, hope you enjoy it!
